SBIR DoD Solicitation Open for Proposal Submission
The DoD SBIR 2007.3 solicitation is open for proposal submission from August 20, 2007 through 6 a.m. EST September 19, 2007. Four DoD components -- the Department of the Air Force, the Department of the Navy, the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) -- have R&D topics in this solicitation under which Phase I proposals are sought. Technical Q&A through SITISOnce DoD begins accepting proposals on August 20, 2007, no further direct contact between proposers and topic authors is allowed, but proposers may submit written questions through the SBIR Interactive Topic Information System (SITIS), in which the questioner and respondent remain anonymous and all questions and answers are posted electronically for general viewing. SITIS closes to new questions on September 5, 2007. All questions and answers will be posted through September 19, 2007. All proposers are advised to monitor SITIS at http://www.dodsbir.net/sitis during the solicitation period for questions and answers and other information relevant to the topic under which they are proposing.
Proposal SubmissionProposals must be submitted via the DOD SBIR Submission website at http://www.dodsbir.net/submission following the instructions contained in the solicitation, including the instructions specified in the topic files for the DoD component to which you are applying. Submissions must include the proposal cover sheets, technical proposal, Company Commercialization Report, and cost proposal to be considered a complete proposal. Small businesses submitting proposals through the Submission website may modify their proposals at any time until the solicitation closing on September 19, 2007 at 6am EST. To use the DoD SBIR Submission website your browser must have scripting enabled and, if your firm has any Phase II awards, commercialization resulting from all prior Phase II awards must be reported and up to date. Offerors bear the risk of website inaccessibility due to heavy usage in the final hours before the solicitation closing time, so plan ahead and submit early.
